My name is Anastasia, and I am the freelance illustrator and designer behind Silver Steer Design. I have designed each piece with love from my small farm in rural Minnesota. I specialize in creating nuanced, fresh, and oftentimes whimsical surface pattern designs for a variety of applications including home décor, fabric, stationery, apparel, and more.
Design Philosophy
I draw inspiration and ideas from the crazy, brilliant, and beautiful moments of my everyday life on the farm. The beauty found on a quiet walk, the brilliant blue flash of my old peacock, Raja, the warm browns of a horse’s coat, and the green dart of a dragonfly. You’ll often find these themes and references in my work.
