Gary Rigby sedang mencari perubahan. Kemeja Yiume terpikat oleh Gary Rigby sebagai jenama yang kreatif dan cantik…diproduksi dengan baik dan pastinya berbeza daripada apa yang dimiliki Gary Rigby. Yiume meets that side of his life…beautiful art that he could wear. He lives in Florida (a warm climate) so the shirts are great year - round wear. But they also generate a lot of conversations…conversations that allow him to share thoughts and ideas that go far beyond the shirt.
Berapa banyak kemeja YIUME yang ada dalam koleksi anda?
I currently own 33 shirts with Ukiyo No.3 and London Christmas my most recent. (I know it’s not Christmas…but I’ll have it for the season!)
What’s your favorite shirt in your collection, and why?
That’s not nice…that’s like asking which is your favorite kid! 😊
Let’s do this in 3 groups…I originally bought shirts that had hidden “small” features…animals, flowers, etc. Things that were not so obvious until you took a closer look. Then I bought shirts from William Morris collection (although I didn’t realize it was a collection at the time.) I love the design…but ended up buying several shirts that I find my self wearing a lot to many different events. (family story…My daughter is a designer…I showed her the Strawberry Thief and was telling her about William Morris. She rolled her eyes and said “Dad, I know who he is and I know that is Strawberry Thief! Turns out I didn’t discover something “new”! 😊) Finally, I have become a fan of ukiyo-e. Never thought I would but my first purchase of the “whale“ shirt sold me. I now own all 4. Super creative, super interesting. (The connection to Van Gogh and Monet is a bonus…both artists that we have enjoyed their work for years) Final thought…the “Koi” shirt is in a category of its own…what a great shirt. Might want to add to that group!
Could you tell us about your profession and what you do?
I have been a financial advisor for the last 39+ years. My job is to create plans for my clients to allow them to be able to successfully retire in the future or (if retired) to remain “successfully unemployed”! I also do a tremendous amount of estate planning to allow my clients to easily transfer their assets to their family members upon their passing with minimal expanse and minimal taxation.
What initially drew you to your current line of work, and what keeps you passionate about it?
I’m driven to improve others’ lives—through encouragement, support, or advice. Professionally, I help clients achieve financial and personal goals, focusing on what fuels their passions. Life isn’t just about growing wealth; it’s about using it to lift others. Our longstanding motto says it best: “Plan like you’ll live forever, but live like it’s your last day.” This guides our philosophy: prepare for the future while acting today to make a difference.
Do any of your family members or friends also wear YIUME shirts?
Tidak pada ketika ini…ini amat banyak adalah perkara saya! Tetapi, apabila saya mendapat lebih banyak kemeja, saya mungkin akan memberikan beberapa kepada abang dan rakan saya sebagai hadiah.
